Infant Nursery (Birth – 18 months):

We understand that your precious little one is very special and needs a clean, safe and loving atmosphere in which to stay. Our nursery is bright and filled with loving adults who will take excellent care of your little one. Your baby will begin to associate church with caring people and interesting activity.

Just as the foundation of any building is its most important element, so too is the spiritual foundation we build into the lives of preschool children. Our children's ministry staff uses games, songs, Bible stories and crafts to communicate the love of God. Everything in the preschool areas are designed with your special preschooler in mind.

Elementary Sunday School 9:00 am

The grade school years are a time when young minds are growing almost as fast as their shoe size! Children from many schools in and around Grand Rapids participate in our elementary Sunday school program. It is designed to teach basic truths of Scripture with special attention to the way those truths apply to your child's life. Our adult teachers are anxious to develop significant relationships with their students. Time together will include a Bible lesson, prayer and plenty of opportunity for your child's teacher to get to know him or her and encourage them.

Children’s Worship 10:15 am

It's the beginning of the transition to "big church". Children, 4 years through 4th grade, learn what it means to worship God with songs, prayer and Bible lessons. For the older elementary age child, grades 5 and older, we encourage parents to have their student join them in the worship service. Your child will learn what it means to honor and glorify God by your example.

Wednesday Evening Children’s Ministries

Preschool Friends (3 years - Kindergarten) and Friends (1st - 5th grades) 6:30 pm

We want children to meet Jesus as their friend and to also be developing relationships with other children. Through small group interaction and activities that reinforce the weekly Bible story, kids are growing in their knowledge and understanding of what God wants for their lives. Time together also includes plenty of opportunity for their group leader to get to know what is happening in their lives and to pray with them for their joys and challenges.

Children’s Choirs 7:15 pm

Music is a powerful tool for children to learn how to worship their God. As they learn songs, they also are memorizing Bible verses and deepening their love for music. Children ages 3 years through 8th grade are involved in singing in our worship services and performing two concerts during the year.

Wee Praise is specially designed for children who are 3-4 years old.   An wonderful introduction to singing together in a choir, the directors of this choir teach some of the childhood favorites as well as some fun new songs for kids.

Heaven's Little Angels is for children who are 5 years old through 3rd grade.  This choir sings once a month in worship and is part of the Children's Christmas Program in December.   Much of the spring is spent preparing for their Spring Concert.  This is a wonderful way for your child to learn God's love through song.

King's Kids will take your child's love for music to a deeper level, as they work through harder music and perform a musical in the spring.  For those who love drama, there is an opportunity to be involved in the skits and drama.  This choir is for students in 4th - 8th grades.
